True Happiness,
a Sounds True CD set

I view my clients as creative and resourceful individuals who are facing difficult or challenging times. My role as therapist is to help my clients identify what is keeping them "stuck" so they can re-engage with a life they value. Therapy is very much a co-creative process for integrating mind, body, and spirit in ways that promote health and well-being.

I have over 20 years of experience as a counseling psychologist in a full-time practice.  The therapeutic approaches I use are research-based and proven effective.  The model I use most often is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also have expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), as well as EMDR. I work with clients in a collaborative way and the ultimate goal is that clients move in the direction of living the full and meaningful life they desire.
